Pasta with salami sauce
Ingredients for 4 people:
Short pasta, but better gnocchi, 400 g.
Tomato sauce, half liter
Some spicy dried salami
Grated pecorino cheese
A small onion
A clove of garlic
Extra virgin olive oil, about three tablespoons
Take the onion and cut into half moon slices. Mesh the garlic clove, peel and finally chop it as well.
Take the green together, roll them tightly, and start to chop thinly.
Put the oil in a saucepan, together with the onion and the garlic and let it crisp up for a couple of minutes.
Add the chopped sausage, then the tomato sauce.
Lid on and let it simmer on a low heat.
Boil the salted water on high heat, dump the gnocchi in, keeping in mind the time of cooking to obtain an ‟al dente pasta ”.
Drain the pasta and mix it well with the sauce.
Finally add the chopped parsley, the basil, the grated cheese and plate it.
